Quick Exit

Status message

Due to the current situation caused by coronavirus (Covid-19) we have made some changes to Truth Project sessions in person.
The Truth Project will draw to a close during 2021. We encourage you to share your experience before it concludes.

2Why your experience matters

Your experience may help others

By taking part in the Truth Project, you will help us make recommendations to the government and organisations on how to help protect children in the future.

If you agree, we may also use your information in the following ways:

  • To help the Inquiry learn more about child sexual abuse. Some of our research is published online but no personal details are included and no one will be able to identify you.

  • To help people understand how child sexual abuse affects people. We may produce an anonymous summary of your experience to be published on our website. Hearing about other people‚Äôs experiences has encouraged more victims and survivors to come forward.

No personal details are included and no one will be able to identify you.

You can change your mind about allowing us to use your information any time before the reports or summaries are published. Just let us know by phoning us, or emailing or writing to us.
